Vienna Austria has appointed a new head coach. The club announced on Monday afternoon that Stefan Helm will lead “Weilsen” in the new season. Experience in video analyst and multiple training positions
After taking charge of Austria’s game analysis in the coaching staff of Thorsten Fink and Thomas Letch in 2018, Stefan Helm has been working as head coach of the young Violets since the end of February 2024. He then followed Fink as an assistant coach at GC Zurich in Switzerland (2018 to 2020), where he served as video analyst and U-21 head coach. After one season as LASK’s assistant coach under Dominik Thalhammer (2020/21 season), Stefan Helm has accepted the position of head coach at SKN St. Paulden in the 2nd league (2021 to 2023) alongside Emanuel Bogadets.
