Wien Holding celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, several Wien Holding companies will open their doors on September 21, 2024 and invite you to an open day. In addition to popular crowd-pullers, you can also get exclusive insights about companies that aren’t publicly available. Looking forward to a wide range of programs with free admission. The highlight of the day is the performance at the Vienna Harbor.
Port of Vienna: Eastern Austria’s largest freight hub
Covering an area of 3 million square meters, the port houses around 200 companies and is a major employer in the region. Thanks to its strategic location on the three Ten-T corridors, the Port of Vienna plays an important role as an inland hub in Europe, especially for the large North Sea and Adriatic ports.

Guided Tour of Vienna Harbor: 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm
With the Vienna Holding shuttle bus you can easily reach the port of Vienna and other establishments located outside the first district. The bus station and festival center are located in Ronacher in Seelerstadt, where the Verinigde Bühnen Wien music festival also takes place.
