This is how Ralf Rangnik allows the ÖFB team to start in Bratislava

Austria's national team go into their first international match of the EURO year against Slovakia with a very surprising starting eleven.

On the one hand, there will be a debut in Bratislava: Rapid youngster Leopold Kurfeld is celebrating his senior debut in central defence, as announced by team boss Ralf Rangnick.

On the other hand, there are two starting eleven comebacks: Patrick Bentz in goal and Stefan Leiner, who recently suffered from cancer, are both back in action for the ÖFB team for the first time since the autumn of 2022.

This time, Florian Grillitsch starts in midfield in place of Xaver Schlager, but otherwise the ÖFB squad has excellent players.
