Champions SK Sturmcross won 6-1 against SC Weiss in their first test match of summer preparations.
The regional league team welcome the double winner to celebrate their 100th anniversary and are already trailing 0:6 at the break. Szymon Wlodarczyk scored four times (14th, 39th, 45th+1, 45th+2), Manbrit Sarkaria (22nd/penalty), William Böving (34th) also scored. Hernas Weiser scored the consolation goal.
“Today’s game was a good first impression and it gives us an idea of our current game. We did some good things in the first half. In the second half we were a bit young, a bit more inexperienced – but it was there. And the important thing is that all the boys came to play.” . Now we will take the lessons learned from this first game and work on ourselves,” concluded head coach Christian Ilzer.
Hütteldorfer and Klagenfurt won clear victories
SK Rapid won more clearly. Against sixth-division side SC Herzogenburg, which, like the Green-Whites, is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year, they scored 11-0.

SK Austria Klagenfurt also won the opening Test match. Last season’s Carinthian league champions SK Treibach lost 10-0. Hat-trick scorers David Doszewski (14th, 17th, 34th), Lawrence Dehl (61st, 79th) and Philip Wydra (57th, 82nd) scored a goal each.
Lots of goals in Lask too
LASK also started the Test match series with a clear victory. ASKÖ Oedt won the Upper Austrians regional league 7:1. New signing Hrvoje Smolcic immediately moves into the top scorers list (68th). Adil Thaui scored twice (83′, 87′).
SC St. Wolfsberger AC showed no weakness against Veit and won 5-1. WSG Tirol won 11:1 against Oberland. WSG rookie Lukas Hinterseer scored twice.
Several second division teams also play on Friday. Young Violets defeated Austria Vienna 2-0 in SV Stryffing. FAC won 1-0 against FC Marchfeld Donauauen. SV Rite drew 1-1 against FC Universitat Cluj. SKU Amstetten can expect a 4-1 win against Wiener Sport-Club.
