Two people were injured and a dog died in an accident on Eiberg Bundesstraße (B173) in Kufstein on Monday. A 58-year-old German man with three dogs in the trunk skidded on a curve on a wet road and crashed into the car of a 54-year-old driver. The 39-year-old driver, who was behind, failed to brake in time and crashed.

During the collision, the 58-year-old driver’s tailgate was thrown open. Two dogs ran away, but their owners were recaptured. However, the police said that the third dog was seriously injured. The driver of the second vehicle involved, a 54-year-old man, and his 33-year-old daughter, who was in the passenger seat, were also hospitalized with injuries. The 39-year-old was treated for shock.
