Sophia Vonnier Gallery
In 2019, a resident of Vorarlberg Sophie Vonnier Opened his gallery in Salzburg. Centrally located in Wiener-Philharmoniker-Gass, the gallery focuses on Austrian and international contemporary art. Sophia Vonnier organizes exhibitions by up-and-coming artists, and especially wants to implement a sustainable framework and comprehensive support for women artists.

Rudolf Budja Gallery
The Rudolf Budja Gallery is located at the same address as the Sofia Vonnier Gallery. In the late 1990s, Rudolf Budja specialized in pop art and brought it to Salzburg. Her gallery of the same name, a stone's throw from the Festival Hall, presents works by big names from the Pop Art industry, such as Princess Marianne Sain-Wittgenstein-Sain.

Wells Gallery
It has been there for decades Wells Gallery The center of the art trade in Salzburg. In the 1930s, the former frame shop grew into a renowned specialist in Salzburg art, Japanese woodblock prints, and important works of French, German and Austrian painting, sculpture and graphics. The gallery is now run by managing partners Hubert Lendl and Martin Gells. It continues to focus on contemporary art and classic modernism and displays this across two floors. Special attention is paid to Austrian artists.

In Gallery Artforum Salzburg The philosophy of the art association Artforum Salzburg is implemented in Ignaz-Horrer-Strasse. Members – from ambitious beginners to experienced artists who offer lessons themselves – have the opportunity to present their work to a wider audience. At the Art Forum, barriers to visiting “exclusive” art exhibitions are broken. Appreciation of artworks, without prior evaluation by a jury, is at the behest of the viewer, making art accessible to all.

Gallery Thaddeus Roebach
Corinthian Thaddeus Roebach He was a pioneer in giving Salzburg a permanent place on the international gallery scene. Since 1983 he has been presenting works of contemporary art from Europe and America that are usually only shown in museums in various locations (London, Paris, Seoul). The gallery at Villa Gast in Salzburg's Mirabell Gardens focuses on international contemporary art and currently exhibits around 60 artists and renowned gardens.

City Gallery Lehne
die City Gallery Lehne Organizes around six exhibitions annually, presenting contemporary local artists and group exhibitions. Its main objective is to make the diverse artistic productions of artists with close ties to the city visible and accessible to a wider audience. Photohof
It's around the corner from the Stadtgalerie Lehen Photohof. It is considered a point of contact for contemporary art photography. Fotohof shows about ten exhibitions in its gallery rooms every year. Another highlight in addition to the works on display is the publically accessible Special Library, which has extensive photographic knowledge with an impressive collection of around 14,000 book titles, catalogs and magazines.

Leica Gallery
In 2008, the Salzburg Photo Gallery was opened and expanded Leica Gallery Enriched. Salzburg investor Andreas Kaufmann invested in a renowned manufacturer of high-end cameras and subsequently bought estates of well-known photographers. Leica Gallery focuses on carefully selected historical and contemporary photography. Both established photographers and promising talent are presented in six changing exhibitions per year. A bookstore with a wide variety of picture books, including new releases and rarities, completes the gallery experience. Avid photographers will find all current LEICA products here.
