Beaten officers and emergency dog: Welzer “GTA bandit” caught by police

The mad escapades continued

This morning, July 28th, a homeowner reported an unknown person in his yard, police said. He alerted the enforcement officers and took a photo. This led authorities to identify and track down the GTA robber – 32-year-old Welser. While hunting for the culprit, he continued to run, jumped on the train and fled to the Wells ice rink. But he got stuck in a nearby flood. When the authorities tried to arrest him, he resisted fiercely:

“He attacked his colleagues and even beat the police dog.”

Drug test positive

However, the accused was arrested. A drug test for the 32-year-old was immediately positive: according to the administrator, he had taken benzodiazepines, which are strong sedatives. The man is currently in the State Criminal Police Office – but he is refusing to testify. Transfer to Wells Prison is imminent.
