The next ÖSV runner ends his career and dedicates himself to his calling

Things happen in quick succession at ÖSV. Hours after Elisa Mörzinger resigned, Chiara Mair announced the end of her career. The 27-year-old from Goetzens in Tyrol has won the European Cup in her career and won bronze twice at the 2017 World Junior Ski Championships in Aare. Mair had a strong performance in the 2020/21 season, when she reached ninth place at the Slalom World Cup.

“What is success? “Success is knowing you gave it your all because you can go to bed with a clear conscience because you've made your little self incredibly proud,” Mair writes on Instagram alongside a picture of herself as a little girl.

She wants to thank her parents for “a fun ride” and looks forward to a future where she wants to dedicate herself to her calling. “Through certain services, I want to support people and animals in harmony with body, mind and spirit,” she describes in her own. Website.
