Sturm II is back in Gleisdorf

Five months abroad

On October 21 of the previous year, SK Sturm Graz II played against Leifer in their adopted hometown of Gleisdorf, the match ended 1–1. Since then, our “two people” have been engaged in a tour of Austria, followed by nine games in a row abroad, including four home games – two in autumn, two in spring – which, as is well known, had to be played in Wiener Neustadt. .

Thank God this tour is over and Sturm II can play in Kleisdorf again in over five months and expect a little home advantage. The guests in Round 21 of the Admiral 2 League are FC Flairalarm Admira, who have a very strong start to the spring season in the rearview mirror. “Admira won three out of four in the second half of the season. They have a good team, a strong team and it will be a big challenge for us,” says Sturm coach Jurgen Sammel. For a new coach who only arrived during the winter break, it will be a home premiere in Kleisdorf. Coincidentally, he used the international break to bring under-18 players into training. “So I was able to calmly get a picture of the boys. “Everybody showed themselves well, there's a lot of energy,” Säumel said, praising the black and white group of youngsters.
