What is the matter?
Viennese club owner Otto Hübner was shot. First, Commissioner Bibi Fellner (Adele Neuhauser) must investigate without her partner, Moritz Eisner (Harald Krasnitzer). He had a glass or two too many at his birthday party the night before. Then went out and looked for a fight at the club? Evidence from the crime scene and surveillance camera footage suggest this. Despite Eisner's arrest, Fellner believes his colleague's innocence.
Why is “Crime Scene: Your Loss” worth it?
Many cases in the ARD series believe that it is not enough to bring a social topic by telling a sensational case to the “crime scene” Sunday after Sunday. This sometimes seems instructive because many viewers expect a well-constructed, hard-hitting crime thriller. That's what the makers of this movie deliver (Thomas Christian Eichinger and Samuel R. Schultz, directed by Katharina Muckstein) — and they do everything right.
What bother?
Inspector as suspect: This constellation has already occurred several times in “Daughter”: Charlotte Lindholm, played by Maria Furtwängler, had to defend herself against the accusation of murdering her boyfriend at the Atlantic Hotel in Christmas 2021. Saarbrücken Commissioner Adam Schurg (Daniel Strasser) has already been investigated. Thiel and Boerne, both Munster residents, were already suspected of murder. So now Moritz Eisner. The problem with this constellation: As a viewer, you already know the investigator is innocent.
Commissioners?
“The way it is, the way it should be”: In the beginning you enjoy Moritz Eisner and Bibi Fellner in perfect harmony. The inspector celebrated his 60th birthday with friends. Now he is sitting on the couch with his colleague and best friend. Soon after, their deep friendship is put to the test: Eisner himself is caught in the crosshairs of the investigation.
