Danish authorities have announced that Malta is the first country to be placed on the yellow list, which means that our country is safe to visit. This will mean that Danish tourists can visit our country without having to quarantine after returning home.
This news came on the same day that Malta was placed on the safe list of the Netherlands, which will mean that Dutch tourists who come to our country do not have to quarantine when they return to their country.
In a statement, the Malta Tourism Authority welcomed this news, as the Scandinavian and even the Dutch market are crucial for our country. In the regard Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo said how the vaccination program, which is progressing very well, together with the restrictive measures, which are now being released cautiously, are positively benefitting our country.
