Over the past week, authorities have issued 1,261 fines after several people were caught violating measures aimed at restricting the spread of the pandemic. The majority of the fines, 784 in number, were issued with regard to lack of wearing a face mask as is required by law.
366 fines were also issued to groups of more than two people. In addition, six establishments were fined for violating the conditions currently in force for establishments, while thirteen people did not comply with their quarantine obligations.
Meanwhile, 47 new COVID-19 cases were reported today and 52 recoveries, with no new deaths were reported for the second consecutive day. To date the number vaccinations recorded stands at 244,718, of which 71,481 were second doses.
