Given the disruption to teaching schedules caused by COVID-19, the Malta Institute of Management is offering all bona fide students a free digital copy of chapters from Principles of Maltese Income Tax Law (updated to March 2020).

The book addresses various topics mainly: Taxable Receipts, Classification of Taxpayers, Jurisdiction to Income Tax, Tax Deductions, the Taxation of Employment Income, Compliance Obligations, Tax Exemptions, Special Cases, Accounting and the Refundable Tax Credit System, the Investment Income Provisions, the Elimination of International Double Taxation, the Income Tax on Capital Gains, Property Transfers Tax, and Anti- Avoidance Provisions.

The full version of the book is available in hardcopy and can be purchased from all the Agenda bookshops and from the office of the Malta Institute of Management 58, Triq Mons. Mikielang Mifsud, Mosta.

This special edition should turn out to be a useful tool to all FEMA and Law Students at the University of Malta as well as students reading ACCA (Basic Taxation and Advanced Taxation) and the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation. The project has been supported by staff from EY. For more information and registration please send an email to info@maltamanagement.com
