€ 10,000 fine for each time a person infected with coronavirus is not found at his residence

Posted by Vento on 24th March 2020 in Local News

Through a new legal notice, any person infected with COVID 19 virus who upon inspection is not found in his or her residence will be fined € 10,000 each and every time this obligation is disregarded. This means that the current fine of € 3,000 has been substantially increased by another € 7,000 for any person quarantined and who violates this obligation.

The Government reiterates that this is necessary with regard to people who have the virus COVID 19 and do not need to be hospitalized, but who are still required to stay in isolation under medical observation. This is a mandatory obligation for all those infected but are quarantined at home.
