To mark the 15th Anniversary of Malta’s EU accession the Times of Malta had an interview with Dr Lawrence Gonzi who was the Prime Minister of Malta. The interview should have been a celebration yet it turned out to be a remembrance of the arrogance during Dr. Gonzi administration. This arrogance has on many media been attributed to Dr Austin Gatt, yet this was not an isolated case. Gonzi mentality is the most arrogant in the history of Maltese politics. This in spite of the fact that many consider him as the worst Prime Minister ever.
I still remember him ridiculing people concerns in spite of the obvious genuine suggestions made and he came over with that superiority complex that no other Prime Minister has had. One should remember that he became Prime Minister only because of the resignation of Dr. Fenech Adami in the first place so it was not through a General Election. He won an election in 2008 albeit it perhaps was one of the closest ever and after engaging into probably the most “character assassination” campaign in History which further shows what that administration was about. In 2013 the Maltese gave him a record…. And threw him out once and for all. So thank you very much Dr Gonzi for reminding us close to an election that your cronies are still in the PN and that we do not want that arrogance ever again in Power .
To Dr. Delia, please get rid of Gonzis cronies as otherwise we can never vote you again.
