Ambrosus is a blockchain based project for IoT and supply chain management. Masternodes are one the systems developed for cryptocurrency. There are many interesting technologies hidden in blockchain despit the fact that it is complicated.
Masternode is a full node of a cryptocurrency and must have a permanent internet connection. Masternode is similar to the standard nodes known from Bitcoin, which store a full copy of the blockchain, but it also has some additional functions.
These functions include:
Making immediate transactions.
Maintaining network consensus.
Enhancing the privacy of the transactions broadcasted to the network.
Through voting, participation in voting and network management. Masternode owners decide on the further direction of project development
Masternodes are a very special kind of nodes in the world of cryptocurrencies as they are an interesting technology. To set up a Masternode, a certain number of a given cryptocurrency is required.
Dash is a Digital Cash known as Darkcoin, which was funded in 2014 by Evan Duffield. It was the first cryptocurrency to implement the Masternode system. Evan, wanted to introduce a new technical solutions to solve a consensus problem. Bitcoin solves this problem by introducing POW (Proof of Work) algorithm. This is how Dash introduced the Masternodes.
Bitcoin does not need financing. All decisions are made by the network, specifically by Masternote Dash owners. Each Masternote owner is allowed to vote once for each proposed development. This means that we are able to receive rewards in exchange for active participation in network management.
Bitmex CEO, Arthur Hayes, said: “Bitmex provides a very easy way to enter the global cryptocurrency system. Normally, in order to trade or speculate on the type of shares or bonds, one must have a bank account, a brokerage account, and provide all its sensitive data. Bitmex does it differently. To trade financial instruments on our platform you need only one thing — Bitcoin. This is one of the biggest reasons why we have succeed. Low barrier entry. Thanks to this, we are able to fully introduce the client to Bitmex within 5 minutes.”
Ambrosus wants to provide its customers with a low barrier to entry into blackchain. Ambrosus, AMB-NET, enables people from all over the world to participate in cryptocurrencies. Hermes Masternode works as a gateway to AMB-NET. Normally, you would need a team of expensive specialists if you wanted to develop any blockchain-based solutions. In exchange for a generous salary, they would build a specific system for you.
There are three classes of Masternode – Apollo, Hermes and Atlas.
Appollo validates transactions, checks them and maintains network integrity. It receives AMB tokens for providing these services to the network. Of every $12 USD from a bundle, part is allocated for awards for Masternode Apollo.
Hermes is the gateway to the blockchain. It is through the Hermes API that entrepreneurs and developers send and manage their data within AMB-NET. Hermes serves as a gateway to AMB-NET — it does not receive any awards.
Atlas is the smallest but the most important Masternode. Atlas provides storage capacity and memory for data that is broadcasted through Hermes. Atlas is divided into three subclasses — Omega, Sigma and Zeta.
