The fact that Palumbo Shipyards is now the leading Mediterranean shipyard is well-recognised. Its continuous drive for excellence in the maritime industry is key to maintaining its solid reputation as a deliverer of unmatched service, with exceptional quality, on schedule and within budget. Through its vision and consequent massive investment, it incessantly strives to aggressively improve its performance at its state-of-the-art facilities dotted around the Mediterranean.

Operating at a very reduced timeframe, with much cheaper costs, this state-of-the-art yacht trailer with a variable system, is easily capable of transporting each and any 25 to 40 metre yacht within the Palumbo Malta Shipyard.
The yacht trailer – an investment worth more than a quarter of a million euro – makes it possible to transport yachts up to 210 tonnes. With an overall length of 19 metres, a width of 6,5 metres, it works on 7 axles and has a total of 12 driving wheels and is already equipped with all the required components to eventually upgrade it in the future, by adding a section of 120 tonnes, bringing its maximum capacity up to 330 tonnes.
With this additional investment Palumbo Shipyards have created the largest shipyard in the Mediterranean for refitting, maintenance, overhaul, repair and modernisation of Superyachts – the largest yachts in the world, with the possibility of covering the multifaceted assortment of requirements of both local and international clients alike.
The passion, dedication and innovation that Palumbo Shipyards are renowned for ensure that the company remains the Mediterranean’s centre of excellence for the maritime industry, and with the successful completion of 253 projects, just last year, including the refitting of six cruise liners and another 52 superyachts, it is a well-earned and well-deserved accolade.
