DHL Express, the world’s leading international express services provider, is the new sponsor of the News Print category in the 2018 Malta Journalism Awards.
When presenting the sponsorship to MJA organiser Roderick Agius, Charles Schiavone, Country Manager Malta of DHL Express, announced that the On Demand Delivery infrastructure through strategically placed DHL Lock It Stations is to be further expanded this year.
“The service, specifically tailored to the demands of international e-commerce deliveries, where the majority of shipments are addressed to residential addresses and customers place considerable emphasis on flexibility and convenience, has been well accepted locally,” Mr Schiavone said.
“We so far have eight Lock It Stations and intend to take their number up to 16 this year.”
Mr Agius thanked DHL Express on behalf of the IĠM for their sponsorship and looked forward to cementing the links with this major service provider in the years to come.
The finalists in the News Print category are: Joe Mikallef of Il-Mument/In–Nazzjon and Victor Vella of It-Torċa.
