Alfred Mifsud tenders his resignation as Central Bank deputy governor

In a court testimony during the course of a civil dispute, deputy governor of the Central Bank, Alfred Mifsud revealed that he will be resigning from his post at the end of June.

Mr Mifsud and former partner Anna Zelbst are contesting their legal rights over what had once been the couple’s family home in Tigné.

Mr Mifsud has formerly occupied the role of Chairman for both Mid Med Bank and One Productions, as well as founding Crystal Finance Investment Limited, which directorship he relinquished when appointed as deputy governor of the Central Bank in 2015.
